Meet The Team

Eric started Engage Engineering doing contract manufacturing back in 2002.  Eric has a mechanical engineering degree with nearly 40 years of experience in product design, manufacturing, & project management. Over time, he has established relationships with a wide client base in multiple industries including flight simulators, space lenses, night vision scopes, NIR lasers, medical, and a few others. The clients have continued to enjoy the high level of commitment and attention to detail that Eric provides on every project.

Alex has been with Engage since 2013.  In that time he has grown into the role of Operations Manager and Quality Control.  Alex now manages purchasing and inventory, invoicing, documents procedures in our Manufacturing Manuals, and checks the quality of assembly.  Alex’s great organizational skills he learned at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo keeps us on top of projects and keeps us in business.

Erika is the oldest daughter of Eric Norling. She graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2011.  She has worked for Engage Engineering as the Business Manager since 2012 while also working a full time job as an Event Manager. She is now focusing on Engage (and motherhood) and brings along years of experience in payroll, hiring, invoicing, and other business managing duties.

​Corey has been with Engage Engineering since 2021. He is a senior mechanical engineering student with a materials emphasis at San Francisco State University. He started as an intern but has since become an engineer for the company due to his work ethic, creativity, and problem-solving skills. At Engage, he specializes in testing, laser calibration, and niche product design. His attention to detail helps refine all products and devices before they are delivered, while his past experience in the customer service industry ensures all of Engage Engineering’s clients are well taken care of.
